Strawberry Lemonade Gummy Bears

Strawberry Lemonade Gummy Bears

As a kid, Haribo gummy bears were one of my favorite candies. They were pretty much my go-to candy. I still get nostalgic every time I see that gold haribo gummy bear bag. As I got older though I decided I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle. In doing so candy was one of the things I gave up. Then later I realized I could still eat gummy bears I just had to make them myself with fresh ingredients and a whole lot less sugar. So I came up with these strawberry lemonade gummy bears.

Ingredients

To make these gummy bears you only need a few ingredients:

  • Unflavored gelatin
  • Optional (strawberry left over after straining.)

Items you’ll need

Before making these you’ll need to gather a few items:

  • Measuring Glass
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Whisk
  • Pot

How to Make Strawberry Lemonade Gummy Bears

Start by measuring lemonade. Sprinkle the gelatin into the lemonade and whisk to combine. Set aside and let the gelatin bloom. Once the gelatin has bloomed pour mixture into the pot along. Heat pot on medium-high heat until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Quickly fill the gummy bear mold. Carefully transfer gummy bear mold to freezer or refrigerator letting it sit until gummy bears have completely set. Pop them out of the molds. Store them in a container in the refrigerator or eat them immediately.
