When I think of Christmas the first thing that comes to my mind is gingerbread. Hot chocolate is also popular around the holidays. With this gingerbread white hot chocolate, you get the best of both worlds. It is simple to make and super delicious. This gingerbread white hot chocolate is like Christmas in a cup.

To make this easy gingerbread white hot chocolate you only need a few ingredients.

Glass Bowl ( with a lip and big enough to sit in pot for double broiling)
Sauce pot
Measuring cups
Jar for storing simple syrup
Measuring Spoons
Whisk
Silicon spatula

How to Gingerbread White Hot Chocolate
Begin by adding sugar, water, molasses, and gingerbread spice mixture to a small pot. Heat on medium-high heat until everything is combined and the mixture has thickened. Remove the mixture from the stove and set it aside. Grab a saucepot and add water. Place on stove at medium-high heat: In a glass bowl add milk and chocolate. Place the glass bowl on the pot that’s on the stove and whisk until chocolate has melted and combined with milk. Carefully remove from pan and remove the pan from the stove. Divide the hot chocolate between two cups and add 3-4 tablespoons of simple syrup. Stir until combined. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy. Notes
When doing double broiler method make sure water isn’t touching the bowl. You want just enough water that it steams the bottom of the bowl then just continue whisking until the chocolate is melted and combined with the milk.
