Kale based pesto sauce
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Bunch of Kale
- 1/3 Cup Pine Nuts
- Juice of half of a lemon
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 Cup Olive oil (See note)
- 1/4 Lightly dried basil
- 2 Tablespoons dried garlic (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except olive oil to a food processor
- Begin blending
- after blending for a couple minutes continue to blend while simultaneously drizzling in olive oil
- Once olive oil is gone if you like the consistency then stop blending.
- If you are not satisfied keep blending and drizzle in more olive oil until you reach your desired consistency
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for use later
Notes
- Start with the 1/4 cup of oil and add more as needed to reach you desired consistency.
